Under the direction of Artistic Director & Conductor Dr. Jin H. Byun, the Oratorio Society of Queens and featured soloists will perform a spectacular program. The first half of the program includes two works by Gabriel Fauré: “Requiem” and “Cantique de Jean Racine”. The second half is dedicated to music written or popularized by artists with roots in Queens, including Aaron Copeland, Paul Simon, Rodgers & Hammerstein, and Louis Armstrong. (read more)

DR. BYUN takes the baton!

As we begin our 97th year, the Oratorio Society of Queens is thrilled to welcome Dr. Jin Byun as its new Artistic Director and Conductor. With a strong passion for music education and performance, Dr. Byun brings extensive experience as a conductor, educator, and professional singer to his role. 

Said Dr. Byun, “I’m honored and humbled to join the Oratorio Society of Queens as its Artistic Direct or and Conductor. I look forward to collaborating with the talented members of the choir, creating transformative musical experiences, and contributing to
the vibrant arts scene in Queens.”

OSQ is a community chorus. OSQ’s doors are open to everyone who wants to join in the joy and congeniality of singing choral masterworks.
